Senior Manager, State and Local Tax

About the Role Uber is looking for a Senior Manager, State and Local Income / Franchise Tax to join our Tax team. This role will lead Uber's US state and local income/franchise tax function, with responsibility for tax provision, planning, M&A advisory, controversy, compliance advice, and process improvement. This is a high-impact role for someone who brings deep multistate tax technical expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex business environment. You will partner closely with multiple teams at Uber (including US indirect tax team), both within and outside the Tax team, and external advisors to manage risk, support business objectives, and drive scalable tax processes.
