About the role
You will conduct quality assurance inspections on Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment and Support Equipment systems, exercise independent judgment to resolve technical discrepancies, and provide the final product acceptance. You will set up, program, and operate sophisticated inspection equipment, while also maintaining all required personal certifications for precision measuring devices. You will collaborate with engineering and production staff to determine the appropriate disposition of materials that do not meet quality standards. You will conduct product and process audits, analyze the resulting quality data to identify trends, and prepare technical reports recommending corrective actions. You will develop or revise quality checklists and evaluate the effectiveness of procedures for controlling technical drawings and data. You will actively participate in continuous improvement teams to identify and eliminate waste from work processes.
