SUPERVISORY SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER-DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates activities necessary to the overall management of a diverse weapons/explosives safety program for the installation. Represents the Weapon Safety Division to a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Directs/provides technical weapon safety training/instruction and/or guidance to commanders, supervisors and employees on a wide range of weapon safety areas to include safe operations, weapons handling and storage, weapon mishap investigations and response, and weapons hazard abatement.
