About the role
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the Administrative Division that is responsible for overseeing and/or providing a wide variety of administrative support services to the district in most or all of the following areas: Procurement, Records Management, Budget, Facilities, and other miscellaneous support services. As an Administrative Services Specialist typical work assignments will include: Responsible for administering a variety of routine USAO procurement activities. Serves as the office purchasing agent using the Government Purchase Card (GPC) or other authorized method for supplies and equipment. Develop procurement plans by reviewing previous history and market conditions. Responsible for maintaining and administering a variety of budget and financial management activities, including the monitoring of expenditures for all open acquisition obligations. Coordinates a variety of facility maintenance and/or repair activities for the USAO workspace.
