About the role
This permanent position is eligible for 100% local telework. Selected candidates are required to live within the Washington, DC locality payment area. The selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret/SCI security clearance. The purpose of this position is to support the IT Security program for the Library of Congress. The incumbent serves as an expert Cyber Threat Analyst with responsibility for participating in computer network defense activities. As such, the incumbent applies a full range of threat analytic skills to monitor, assess, and report on computer network operations capabilities that could pose a threat to the Library of Congress (LOC) computers, communications, and operations. In conjunction with senior analysts, the incumbent develops and/or recommends analytic approaches to problems and situations.
