About the role
As a HR OFFICER (MILITARY)-TITLE 32, GS-0201-12, you will provide state level coordination of all military personnel programs such as enlistment, appointment, performance evaluation reports, promotions, discharges, separations, recruiting, retention, incentives, and training. Develop state-level programs, publications, policies, and procedures. Conduct research and advise on difficult personnel cases, administrative matters, medical, and training problems. Monitor manning, manpower authorizations, and organizational changes. Coordinate a statewide incentive program. Responsible for the management of the State ANG Retention Program for enlisted and officer personnel. Serve as principal assistant to the Administrative Officer. Assist in maintaining orderly and efficient accomplishment of the office administrative workload. Manage the state Officer Effectiveness Report Program. Manage the federal and state ANG Military Awards Program. Review, staff, and process line of duty investigations
