Contract Administrator

Serves as functional advisor on contract administration to ensure the Command and Contract Management Offices receive and apply the highest level of functional guidance and expertise in executing their mission. Uses a mastery of contract administration operating principles and concepts to help develop new approaches, procedures, and techniques for accomplishing the organizational mission. Furnishes technical assistance, advice, training, mentoring, and policy guidance on contract administration issues and problems to Command and Contract Management Office personnel. Maintains knowledge of appropriate functional resource materials on current and emerging policies and procedures. Identifies areas requiring corrective action or opportunities for improvement, provides methods of effecting the actions and helps the Command and Contract Management Offices ensure that required action has been taken.
