About the role
The duty station location will be determined upon selection, to include current employees of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration based on their current Core office location listed in this announcement. As a Supervisory Government Information Specialist, you will: - Coordinate FOIA and PA requests with other Department of the Treasury (Department or Treasury) offices, outside agencies, submitters of records, and legal counsel, as appropriate. - Develop, maintain and assemble data required to prepare Disclosure program reviews and various recurring management reports or special reports required by higher level management and outside agencies relating to TIGTA's operations under the FOIA and the Privacy Act. - Review and evaluate complex FOIA and PA requests to make disclosure determinations and ensure responses are consistent with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. - Serve as the Program Manager for the Disclosure Branch, which is responsible for ensuring TI
