Military Personnel and Programs Specialist, SSC/SD

The United States Space Force (USSF) at Kirtland AFB is searching for a Military Personnel and Programs Specialist to support SSC/SD (NH-0301-03, GS-12/13 equivalent). Description: Are you a human resources expert passionate about shaping the careers of our nation's Guardians? We are seeking a Military Personnel and Programs Specialist to serve as the principal subject matter expert for all officer and enlisted personnel assignments within the Innovation and Prototyping Directorate (SSC/SD). In this critical role, you will manage the end-to-end assignment lifecycle, from analyzing manning requirements and projecting vacancies to executing final placements. Your day-to-day will involve providing vital career counseling to service members, offering expert advice on assignment policies to all levels of leadership, and developing strategic solutions to complex manning challenges. You will be the key point of contact for assignment policy issues, interact directly with senior leaders, and e
