The Assistant Inspector General (AIG) for Management position is in the Office of Management (OM), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Office of Management is responsible for the operation of the agency's management and administration portfolio, including the budget and finance; acquisition; human resources; security; facilities and logistics; safety and readiness lines of business. The incumbent serves as the AIG for Management (AIGM). Under the direction of, and working with, the DIG for the Executive Office (DIG/EO) of the Inspector General/Chief of Staff, the incumbent shares responsibility for planning, directing, and supervising all OM activities. In this capacity, the AIGM serves as a ''full" deputy to the DIG/EO and is responsible for providing day-to-day management and direction of senior supervisory personnel
