About the role

The successful candidate will handle a heavy MSPB caseload before Administrative Law Judges and the Board, as well as providing advice to internal clients regarding employee discipline, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Wounded Warrior Leave, and other military-related matters. The selected candidate will provide MSPB and USERRA training and representation to clients across all levels of the Postal Service nationwide. Other duties include: Conducts legal research and prepares written material for use in representing the Postal Service and advising postal management officials. Participates in conferences necessary to representing or advising Postal Service officials. Directly advises postal management officials and represents the Postal Service in legal matters involving outside parties.
