HAZARDOUS CARGO SHIPMENT INSPECTOR (MVO/FLO)

- Inspects hazardous materials, explosives, ammunition, special cargo documentation and packaging in accordance with applicable DoD, AF, AMC and civilian directives. Ensures hazardous, explosive, ammunition, and special shipments are properly marked, labeled and packed for air or surface movement. - Performs comprehensive inventories ensuring the protection of resources and executes a broad range of specific storage assignments as directed by AF and civilian directives. Stores, segregates, stacks, palletizes, and/or rotates items considering their use, size, shape, quantity, and special handling requirements. - Performs tasks involved in receiving and shipping items.
