About the role

You will conduct evaluations of safety programs to address program deficiencies. You will manage programs to protect personnel and property from natural or manmade mishaps or disasters that would adversely affect the business unit and organizational goals. You will evaluate work performance to identify personnel training needs and career development. You will Identify developmental and training needs of employees to maintain staff knowledge of procedures and regulations. You will analyze mishaps and hazardous conditions to determine origin, causes, and contributing elements to prepare written reports. You will investigate mishaps to minimize or eliminate hazardous working conditions. You will enforce safety and occupational health standards according to federal Occupational and Safety Health (OSHA), Department of Defense (DoD), and other installation policy and directives. You will develop plans for safety and occupational health activities.
