Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic

This is an open continuous announcement that is open until September 30th, 2026. Qualified applicants will be considered and referred as vacancies become available. Major duties include but are not limited to: Repairs, inspects, lubricates, installs, and troubleshoots all air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation equipment at the medical center. Will also be responsible for heating systems in centrally controlled systems. Some examples of the types of equipment would include household and commercial refrigerators, water coolers, ice machines, window and central AC systems and chiller systems. Installs all necessary piping and tubing for assigned systems and equipment. Also is responsible for all wiring and control circuits within the system. Uses refrigerants and refrigeration oils within the scope of his work. Responsible for observing all safe trade practices and handling all tools and material in a safe manner. Takes part in the maintenance and repair of steam distribution sys
