About the role

As an Evidence Custodian, your typical work assignments may include: Receiving seized evidence from Special Agents, Task Force Officers, and Diversion Investigators during normal duty hours, ensuring it is accompanied by the appropriate forms and records items in the appropriate logs and electronic systems. Maintaining strict chain-of-custody records, ensuring all evidence movements are accurately tracked using agency approved evidence management systems and manual documentation as required. Utilizing different types of software to include spreadsheets, databases, word processing, desktop publishing, and other system software to generate specific working documents and forms. Participating in and preparing for required audits and inspections by coordinating with senior official to identify/solicit volunteers to conduct the audit or inspection, retrieving electronic reports, ensuring vault is organized, and providing assistance in locating and reconciling evidence discrepancies Coordinat
