Lead Grants Management Specialist

Performs grants and agreements policy and oversight, analyzes and evaluates GA matters. Provides definitive advice and guidance on GA matters to project managers and Grants Management Specialists. Provides advice and guidance on AQM systems implementations, upgrades, and implementation of business process changes with AQM systems. Analyzes the certification process, reviews and recommends certification of Grants Management Specialists, and writes policy in accordance with certification requirements and programming. Serves as liaison between the Agency and US Department of Agriculture, and between the Washington Office and the field. Participates in financial audits, Office of the Inspector General audits, and other external reviews. Supports internal process reviews of GA activities as a review team member or policy expert. Training includes in-person, webinars and asynchronous training platforms. Supports various initiatives relating to GA administration across the agency in different
