Job Family : Admitting Representative Travel Required : None Clearance Required : None What You Will Do : The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing inpatient and outpatient admissions. Registers incoming patients, enters information on admitting forms, explains hospital regulations, and assigns patients to rooms based on the nature of the illness and the type of accommodations available. May prepare identification bracelets and assist in insurance matters. Serves as a liaison between patients, their families, visitors, and the hospital (administration, management, hospital staff, medical staff, etc.) Type: Full-Time, Days, 100% Onsite Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 6:00am-6:30pm Location: UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham - Emergency Department Please Note: Schedule is subject to change based on hospital census and business needs.
