Victim Witness Program Coordinator

The duties and responsibilities for a Victim Witness Program Coordinator, GS-0301-12, generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain oversight, direction, and guidance of the Commission's Victim Support Program. Provide technical expertise in identifying the full range of services provided by criminal justice partners, state and local agencies, and other organizations. Partner with community agencies concerning victim witness issues. Ensure that victims and witnesses understand the criticality of participating in the legal process and how the legal process works. Support victims and witnesses through the hearing process. Coordinate specialized services and referrals to victims and witnesses of crime, including vulnerable victims (children, the elderly, the disabled, and victims of domestic violence and sexual assault). Represent the agency in any matters related to the Crime Victims' Rights Act (CVRA). Serve as a liaison between the U.S. Parole Commission, the U.S.
