Serving as an Accountant GS-0510-12/13 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Finance Division under the Chief Financial Officer Directorate. The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional accounting services to the FLETC and serviced DHS components. Typical duties include: Providing expert and authoritative advice on complex and difficult areas of financial accounting work. Instructing and directing lower-graded and/or newly assigned personnel in the practical application of accounting principles.
