Supervisory Security Assistant

This Supervisory Security Assistant position is located in the Vetting Analysis Division (VAD), Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Operations Support (OS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Supervising and managing a team of highly effective security assistants in a 24x7 watch setting by assigning work, setting team goals, selecting team leads, assigning team members tasks and directing the administrative and technical work of subordinates. Guiding the work and development of the team through job coaching/mentoring, enforcing disciplinary actions, managing staff schedules and authorizing leave/absences, and measuring staff performance. Utilizing an automated case management system to enter and track customer information/issues while engaged with a customer telephonically.
