About the role
If selected, you will serve as the District's Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist of the Litigation Support Unit (LSU). You will be responsible for performing advanced and complex litigation support to meet specialized, unique, or unprecedented, litigation support needs of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), Southern District of California. Typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to: Performing a full range of first line supervisory duties associated with supervising the technical staff of the unit; Planning, developing, coordinating, and managing the provision of litigation support to USAO legal and support staff; Performing advanced and complex litigation support systems design, development, testing, and implementation of substantially new applications of information technology; Performing essential litigation support tasks associated with day-to-day operation of the USAO's litigation support systems; Evaluating new technologies for implementa
