About the role
DUTY 1: Manages and provides guidance and direction for tasks related to intelligence force management policy and advocacy support to subordinate operational units. Researches, formulates, prepares and writes responses to unit intelligence operations issues. Collects, coordinates, and manages all reports and data acquired during staff assistant visits of subordinate units and performs trend analysis using this information in support of A2. DUTY 2: Function as the organizational intelligence and force management expert. Serve as the authority and functional technical expert on all intelligence operations issues for subordinate units. The position provides long-term continuity and historical perspectives for HQ staff and units. DUTY 3: Represents the interests of USAF, AFSOC, and the organization at senior strategic meetings and conferences.
