About the role
Executive Director, Portfolio Management duty location is either Washington, DC or Eatontown, NJ. The selectee must work from a Department of Veterans Affairs owned or leased facility. This position is not remote. Executive Director, Portfolio Management, is organizationally aligned to the Office of Information Technology. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Management of staffing, budgeting, development, design, security and integration of multi-site software application development operations. Develop cost effective alternatives for application delivery for all enterprise software systems applications; provide ongoing staff professional training. Development and strategic use of outside partners, including other government and commercial entities.
