About the role

You will use a wide variety of test equipment such as sweep and pulse generators, precision frequency and power measuring devices, twin channel oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and various types of special test equipment You will adapt to constantly changing methods, specifications, frequencies, and tolerances. You will use equipment that demands advanced trade skills and knowledge with respect to such factors as precise timing of radio frequencies, antenna range, indicator sweep rotations, signal strengths, etc. You will follow drawings for integrated electronic systems and identify effects a change in one system will have on other systems and determine parts to be replaced or adjusted You will improvise test equipment and apply trade techniques to solve unusual problems involving, location and density of circuitry and devices, electromagnetic radiation effects, and troubleshooting difficulties in isolating malfunctions.
