About the role
You will plan and lay out repairs, and/or modifications of a variety of complex equipment and systems, and operate and adjust pumps, motors, valves, solenoids, switches, safety devices, thermostats, and other similar devices. You will start, operate, adjust, and stop multiple fuel power boilers and auxiliary equipment in a steam boiler plant requiring continuous attention to monitor efficiency. You will operate various computer terminals to monitor, interpret, and control the mechanical distribution systems, including saltwater, low pressure compressed air and sewer lift stations, and monitor alarms and initiate corrective actions. You will make technical decisions and judgments on systems and subsystems operation, adhering to established practices, outlined objectives, and technical requirements.
