About the role
This position is the Assistant Regional Commissioner for Division of Federal State Programs in the Boston/New York Region and performs the following duties: Plans, directs, monitors, assesses, and adjusts program activities within the Division to ensure timely delivery by assigned States of accurate data, provision of expert technical assistance and training, and insurance of responsible fiduciary practice and management for state cooperative funding agreements. Manages financial aspects of federal/state cooperative agreements evaluating state funding needs in relation to Bureau funding and negotiates appropriate cooperative agreements. Manages cooperative agreement finance in accordance with law, regulation, ethics, and good business practice.
