WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR SUPERVISOR

You will plan equipment maintenance and facility repairs and ensure material availability including chemicals used at a wastewater treatment plant. You will investigate work-related problems such as low productivity and establishes procedures to ensure Operations personnel are productive and equipment is maintained and operating at high efficiencies. You will The incumbent evaluates operational costs to ensure his unit is being operated within budget constraints and makes recommendations to higher management if excessive costs are incurred. You will maintain attendance records and time cards, various operational reports, chemical consumption, preventive maintenance records, and daily logs on each operational shift. You will work closely with the Wastewater Maintenance Supervisor to keep him/her abreast of ongoing work, equipment breakdowns, operational deficiencies, and general conditions of the wastewater collection system and its appurtenances.
