About the role
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for Paralegal work. Typical work assignments will include: Performing extensive and thorough legal research into the legislative history, precedent cases, decisions, and opinions that may be applicable to particular legal matters. Drafting initial legal and administrative briefs, U.S. Attorney Office motions, oppositions to defense motions and correspondence for Assistant U.S. Attorneys review. Organizing data and developing trial exhibits such as statistical charts, graphs, and timelines to be presented in court as corroborative evidence. Preparing and organizing trial exhibits, documents, memoranda, reports and correspondence relating to cases for review by Assistant U.S. Attorneys review. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
