Academic Advisor

Academic Advisor is responsible for assisting with academic administration at the campus. Determine scheduling wheels. Responsible for retention of students. Ensure academic advising is completed. Provide assistance and support to faculty as necessary. Participate in curriculum development and other ongoing academic issues for the university. Coordinate with other departments to implement academic polices and procedures set by Academic Affairs. Ensure student satisfaction at campus level. Responsibilities • Monitor Last Day of Attendance (LDA) and conduct retention calls and emails to students • Respond to student calls and emails for assistance and academic advising • Respond to faculty concerns • Take action on requests and questions from other Departments, other campus Academic staff, VP and VP for Academic Affairs. • Monitor retention, including academic team and campus LDA meeting • Meet with Dean for planning and feedback • Conduct classroom observations as needed • Be available
