TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (Title 32)

JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to serve as a Distribution Traffic Management Specialist, which provides technical expertise, support and execution relating to the movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel for both peacetime and wartime. Manages, directs, develops, plans, and analyzes Deployment and Distribution programs. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Connecticut Air National Guard. The major duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as the technical transportation advisor to all statewide operating officials on all matters dealing with commercial movement of personnel and equipment. Ensures that traffic management and transportation services required to support the mission are accomplished.
