OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

DUTY 1: Performs Career Broadener assignments involves a broad range of functional research assignments entailing unique problems, creativity, innovative use of techniques, advanced approaches, and/or new technologies supporting the ACC Enterprise Data Office (EDO). Performs studies of issues arising in varied subjects of advanced difficulty and complexity. Establishes assumptions, measures effectiveness of approaches, and evaluates available alternatives. Analyzes the feasibility of advanced analytical approaches or radically different proposed policies. Evaluates impacts of new technologies on current systems and policies. Conclusions and recommendations have a major impact on top-level management plans and decisions regarding requirements definition, planning, and acquisition of major upgrades and new system capabilities.
