Preschool Teacher (12 ECE / 30 hrs per week min)

The Room to Grow is a small, mixed-age learning community for children ages 3–5, inspired by Reggio Emilia, emergent curriculum, and play-based learning. We’re a supportive and collaborative team of reflective educators looking for two full-time teachers to join us (30 hrs per week minimum) . We’re especially excited about candidates with experience or passion for: music & movement, yoga & mindfulness, visual arts/atelier, or project-based learning. What You’ll Do: • Design and facilitate emergent, play-based curriculum rooted in children’s interests and inquiry • Create engaging, exploration-friendly classroom environments • Integrate outdoor learning, community experiences and real-world connections into the curriculum • Use pedagogical documentation to track learning and inform planning • Support children in developing independence, self-regulation, communication skills and positive peer relationships • Build strong, trusting partnerships with families • Collaborate closely
