PROGRAM ANALYST

As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Supports the development and execution of the Department Budget. Conducts analysis in support of the development of the Annual and Five Year Spend Plans and integrates requirements into the Department's annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Advises Agency management on individual test and assessment costs, and works directly with Division Chiefs and Program Managers to support planning and execution of Division, program, and project funds. Compiles program requirements and develops program and budget estimates; monitors and tracks funding to ensure funds are properly allocated and expended in a timely and effective manner. Analyzes trends in spending and progress toward budgetary objectives. Independently oversees preparation of acquisitions ensuring timely preparation of all required documentation and schedules.
