Firefighter (Basic Life Support/Hazardous Materials Technician)

Respond to fire alarms for all classes of fires such as those involving radioactive and/or hazardous materials, medical emergencies, rescue operations; wild land fires, hazardous material incidents. Assigned as equipment driver/operator to operate pumpers or other emergency vehicle. Utilize equipment driver/operator to operate pumpers or other emergency vehicle. Serve as a fully qualified Hazardous Materials Technician, responds as a member of the department's hazardous materials team. Respond on site to accidents and other emergencies involving injuries and illnesses.
