About the role
Manages day-to-day operations of one of the National Maintenance Control Centers (MCC). Provides program direction and technical advice in the field of vehicle maintenance and repair for the Regional Fleet Maintenance Program. Provides direction and guidance on administrative, technical issues, policy matters, program objectives, and implementation plans. Analyzes maintenance factors that may impact operating costs, including incidence of breakdown by vehicle manufacturer and model; cost of maintenance by vehicle type and/or Fleet Management Center; premature part failure due to inadequate maintenance. Forecasting, authorizing, and controlling assigned portion of the National MCC annual budget. Analyzes monthly financial reports and on-site observations to provide quality service to customers and improve efficiency.
