About the role
As a Business Program Planning Specialist, you will: Manage the full lifecycle of acquisition activities, including contracts, interagency agreements, and reimbursable agreements, ensuring effective planning, execution, and closeout of procurement actions. Analyze acquisition and financial data to support budget planning, track expenditures, assess program performance, and inform decision-making. Oversee contractor performance by monitoring deliverables, reviewing invoices, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and requirements. Provide expert guidance on acquisition planning, strategy development, and procurement processes, advising stakeholders on requirements, funding, and appropriate contracting approaches. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex acquisition and program issues, provide technical guidance, and support organizational objectives.
