About the role
As a Audio Visual Information Specialist, GS-1001-7, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Set up, operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot digital displays, video conferencing systems, and other professional audio visual equipment to support meetings, trainings, and special events. Assist with installation, operation and maintenance of upgrades for multimedia classrooms. Assist with functional and operational test to evaluate quality and performance of video and/or audio reception, production and transmission. Operate video conferencing bridge and Codec. Assists in the preparation and development of visual media and presentation material in support of the organization's programs. Provide customers with guidance and assistance.
