About the role
Oversees and participates in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic and operational plans and training and development programs. Develops a variety of highly specialized curricula for presentation to state and local correctional, pretrial, probation, parole and/or reentry services personnel, legislators, and other elected officials. Recommends and designs appropriate training formats to include the modules for e-Learning training, activities for programs containing blended learning approaches, programs conducted via video camera and computer (e.g., virtual platform, virtual instructor led training, webinars), and audio/video conferences. Administers cooperative agreements and contracts related to carrying out NIC's legislative mandates.
