Project Management Branch Chief

Directly leads and manages the execution of projects through the supervision of a staff of project managers. To accomplish this task the incumbent will coordinate with staff responsible for managing programs and projects within scope. Develops and directs the analysis and evaluation of high level complex projects and activities in terms of operational procedures, organization, work flow and overall effectiveness. Resolves disputes that arise and develops and executes non-routine, complex procedures to improve program execution, organization of project teams, and arrangements. Serves as an expert in the areas of Branch activities and/or high level projects and other work required for effective program management, tracking and overall exercises responsibility for related projects and/or services that involve substantive interaction with other stakeholders and partners in the facilitation of high level Office of Program and Project Management programs and services.
