Procurement Analyst

Issues policy and procedural guidelines to increase effectiveness and uniformity in the management and administration of acquisition programs, and to comply with Office of Procurement enterprise and government-wide standards. Analyzes existing source evaluation procedures and practices with the aim of improving and/or simplifying the acquisition process. Guides evaluation boards throughout the process, reconciling any discrepancies or differences of opinion inherent in the evaluation process. Mentors and guides the acquisition community in planning and executing all segments of the pre-award process. Reviews of long-range acquisition plans and procurement strategies, including methods of contracting, request for proposals. Source Evaluation Board evaluation criteria and proposal evaluation documentation and debriefing to unsuccessful offerors. Develops lessons learned and recommends policy and process changes.
