About the role
A. Technical Administration Develops and evaluates flight operations programs for organizations which utilize the newest, most complex aircraft systems, and equipment. The APM is responsible for the oversight of flight operations involving large fleets of turbine powered aircraft engaged in large-scale passenger and/or freight service for nationally and internationally prominent carriers. Assignments at this level are of significant scope and complexity and the organizations monitored are traditionally major operators in the industry. Develops a work program to ensure periodic surveillance of designated pilot and flight engineer examiners, pilot and flight engineer check airmen, and company training programs. Assures the assigned air carrier conducts flight crew training and testing required by appropriate Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR), FAA-approved training programs, and current testing standards.
