About the role
You will serve as an advisor to safety professionals of subordinate activities on all training, to include high-risk training safety (e.g. firefighting, damage control, swimming/water survival, small boats, small arms training, and force protection. You will perform risk assessments of hazardous processes and working conditions to determine hazard control techniques that minimize or eliminate unsafe and unhealthful operations. You will evaluate training techniques, lesson plans, and risk assessment to verify hazards, risks and safety responsibilities are clearly defined and mitigated. You will develop and maintain schedules for successful execution of multiple safety efforts and projects. You will identify and assess industrial maintenance hazards, construction hazards, HAZMAT, and fire protection requirements.
