Program Specialist (National Outreach Manager)

The Program Specialist manages national outreach, museum collaborations, and partner programming for the Unit, in particular supporting the Smithsonian Affiliations program. The position works closely with a subset of Smithsonian Affiliates and other cultural organizations to develop and implement national programming, convenings, professional development, collections loans, exhibit collaborations, internships, etc. In this position, you will: Lead active collaborations among Smithsonian Affiliates, other partners and Smithsonian units, including object loans, content development, educational and public programs, convenings, etc. Serve as liaison to other SI museums and offices, partner museums, and community/program participants.
