As a INTERNAL CONTROL ANALYST, GS-0501-11, you will: Provide administrative oversight of the Quality Assurance (QA) Program Provide technical assistance and advice to the Financial Manager (FM) and staff Examine all areas to determine the effectiveness of procedures Prepare monthly Discrepancy Tracking Report to management for review Conduct various reviews to assess organizational performance Report discrepancies to the Financial Manager for further research Gather data, track discrepancies, and prepare trend charts Maintain schedules of all reports, audits, inspections, and internal control reviews
