About the role
This position starts at a salary of $89,508.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $116,362.00 (GS-12, Step 10) As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating current, incipient, and potential US Border Patrol (USBP)-wide transportation and maintenance (motor vehicles & mobile wheeled equipment) challenges, problems, as well as their causes and resolutions. Typical duties include: Evaluating and adapting techniques to measure and improve USBP program effectiveness and productivity Ensuring accuracy and relevancy of data in Fleet Information Management Systems to include but not limited to SAP, VMIS, GSA Fleet GOV, GSA Auto-Choice, and FM-Live Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to reveal data detail errors in databases and reports and performing needed corrections to restore data reliability and integrity Administering sustainment programs to include but not limited to Electronic Data Exchange, Fleet Card, GSA Fleet GOV registration, and Home-To-Work a
