Tax Analyst

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. The incumbent serves as an expert analyst responsible for developing and/or interpreting guidance on program planning, execution, and evaluation for the compliance, accounts management and/or taxpayer education and communication functions. The employee plans, analyzes, determines cost/benefit relationships, and coordinates a variety of functions, operations, and teams. Independently studies problems facing operating unit functions or those of particular concern within the organization assigned. This may require coordinating input from activities outside the division and identifying new methods of performing work.
