International Health Program Officer

Formulates policy positions on collaborative activities. Fosters bilateral and regional relationships through consultation with health officials and scientists in geographic area of responsibility. Develops and negotiates bilateral and regional agreements for biomedical research programs; fosters, facilitates and coordinates NIH participation under such agreements; oversees NIH activities to ensure compliance. Maintains liaison with DHHS and other US government agencies. Represents NIH on international delegations, committees and working groups.
