Supervisory Aviation Safety Assurance & Data Management (Safety Analysis Branch Manager)

Responsible for a mixture of routine and complex projects/programs based on the objectives of Flight Standards/Division/ Functional Office. Leads the Safety Analysis Branch to meet their customer support and program development responsibilities. Work is typically governed by established policies, procedures, and organizational objectives that frequently leave room for discretion. Resolves all unique problems without the intervention of higher-level management. Regularly called upon to identify problem areas and to develop and recommend new policies and procedures for resolution. The manager is responsible for supporting aviation safety activities in a complex and dynamic air carrier or general aviation environment. This role requires experience in providing analytical support and/or leveraging analytics to make risk-based decision in safety assurance offices.
