Management Analyst (Finance and Budget Specialist)

The Management and Program Analyst uses experience and comprehensive knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess management operations and program efficiencies. Performs distribution allowances and execution activities. Serves as the Headquarters liaison between Service Areas and other ATO Resource Management Groups. Performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of the Team Manager or more experienced professional. This work affects the daily operations of assigned Service Units. As a contributing specialist, the Analyst applies knowledge of the principles of financial management, the Federal budget process, and project planning in compiling the analytical data required to prepare execution and financial reports. Assignments regularly require interpretations of internal and external policies within the FAA Acquisition Management System and extrapolations from precedents.
