TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PERSONAL PROPERTY INSPECTOR)

Performs physical and virtual inspections of domestic and international household goods, unaccompanied baggage, mobile homes, and contract warehouse facilities. Advises military and civilian employees on shipment and storage entitlements to ensure quality move(s). Performs QA program administrative actions, captures carrier compliance data, and documents monthly inspections of agent/carrier/DPM contractor warehouses. Provides oversight of Federal Acquisition Regulation based requirements, to include Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Blanket Purchase Agreement and Direct Procurement Method contracts.
